"I promised myself I'll never say this anywhere but I'll just say it so people will know. My father never supported my music career. I even had a studio in the house in Nigeria but he didn't know. The house is too big, it's over 30 rooms, I don't even know the exact number of rooms in that house till date. The room where I put my studio was directly by my room but my father never went into that room. When my father came back from work, he'll just go to his room and call me if he wants to see me.
I was always playing loud music in the studio even when he was home but he never heard. I even used to snêak in people in the house and record with them and he didn't know. I was also going out to the clubs, getting drûnk, carrying girls, and producing music for other upcoming artiste in the house but my dad still didn't know. I really sûffered." ~ Davido

‘They waited for my son(Fish Magnet) while he was coming home and as he alighted from his car to open the gate, they att@cked him. I believe it was a targeted att@ck. Governor Soludo was not in anyway responsible for the de@th of my son. In fact, I should even be thankful to the governor because that night when my son was taken, a lot of our party people heard it and were calling. The Governor also reached out to me and connected me with the police commissioner in an attempt to get my son out. He will be buried on August 28’ -Fish Magnet’s Mum
