Next Round of the VEE EIGHTS is our favourite time of year which is Retro Round, Dion is taking it back to 2003 and the Team Betta Electrical Falcon, Bring on the 26th of September!

WINNER WINNER HAD A MCCHICKEN FOR DINNER
Friday night saw Dion competing in round 7 of the VEE EIGHTS around Hockenheim with some great success.
Qualifying was a 15 minute session and Dion managed to put a lap with 7 seconds to go to put him P2 on the grid and P1 in the 2014 class. The night was 2 races a 14 lap sprint and then a 20 lap top 10 reverse with a pit stop.
Race 1 had a little bit of drama to it with with the top 5 very close all race. Dion slid down to P3 but then the tyres went off quite quickly with a little bit of carnage to end the race in P5 overall and P3 in class
Race 2 Dion started 5th and in the early laps managed to get himself into the lead and from then on it was head down to build a gap while everyone else battled like it was for the championship. He pitted on lap 9 and by the time everyone had pitted was back into the lead with tyres that were going away fast. The 2019 ZB Commodore was fast approaching in the final laps but Dion did a great job and crossed the line 1st overall and 1st for the class also securing the round win!
