Unfortunately, (UK) will no longer be able to perform at WOMAD NZ due to a medical emergency. He is deeply saddened not to be able to travel at this time but hopes to be back in the future. We wish him a speedy recovery!

Replacing Nitin will be (The Netherlands). An arsenal of hazy rhythms and dubby percussion, fused with a love of Afro-Caribbean poly rhythms has cemented MDB’s reputation as a live act that fires up the dancefloor. From Amsterdam, they are a musical family, with four of the five band members related. With hypnotic grooves and airtight arrangements, they have taken their instruments on the road everywhere from Russia to Mexico, with plenty of European festivals in between.
