ST. ANNE'S SURVIVORS Please note that if I don't respond right away, that's because I am in the thick of editing and searching various archives for the most appropriate images to bring into Nee Kee Wa Nan testimonial videos. These archives include: The Hudson's Bay Company Archives, Deschâtelets Archives (Oblates of Mary Immaculate), Sisters of Charity Ottawa Archives (aka Grey Nuns), Anglican Archives (many students had family members who were sent to Fort George as you all know), and the NCTR Archives. I am now also going to begin searching the Province of Ontario Archives. So, it's not that I don't appreciate when you respond, I am just multi-tasking to the maximum at the moment.
What I am curious about at the moment are rabbit-fur coats that the kids used to wear (circa 1950s and 1960s). Were these made entirely from rabbit fur, or were the coats and hoods lined with rabbit fur? I am trying to find an appropriate image, so your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Screenshots are attached, so feel free to comment.
Thanks,
Sue Enberg
