Supertramp founder, vocalist, keyboardist co-writer and sole constant member, Rick Davies, died on 6th September. By way of a tribute, we present a ripping selection from Supertramp's first live album, recorded in Paris in November 1979, including a fair few he sang on. Not that we're neglecting Roger Hodgson. There will be plenty of his vocals too. 4pm Sunday on The MOST FM, brought to you by Devon West Pharmacy.

Featuring songs from the two solo albums she had released up to that point, plus reworks of two songs from her days fronting 10,000 Maniacs, and two covers that might surprise you! This week on the Live Gig Hour, we go back to 2004, when Brian Wilson finally presented his legendary, lost SMiLE suite to the world in a series of live performancess, starting at the Royal Festival Hall in London on 20 February. Originally conceived as the Beach Boys’ follow-up album to Pet Sounds, Wilson abandoned it in 1967, following resistance to the album’s direction from within the band, and with his mental health becoming increasingly fragile. Miraculously, 37 years later, he returned to SMiLE and completed it, to universal acclaim.
Join us at 4pm on Sunday as we pay tribute to Brian Wilson, who died last month aged 82, with this stunning performance of his ambitious masterpiece. Brought to you by Devon West Pharmacy.

This week's Live Gig Hour will be split between two great singer-songwriters, one who sadly died in obscurity at the age of 35, the other a legend still going strong in her 80s. We begin with a rare concert recording of Judee Sill, the first artist signed to David Geffen's Asylum label, recorded at Boston Music Hall on 3 October 1971, as opening act for Crosby & Nash. Then, fittingly for King's Birthday weekend, a set by Carole King, taken from her November 2007 reunion concert at LA's legendary Troubadour with James Taylor, backed by guitarist Danny Kortchmar, bassist Leland Sklar and drummer Russ Kunkel, with JT on acoustic guitar and vocals.
Tune into The Most 100.4 FM, 4pm Sunday, brought to you by Devon West Pharmacy.
