Dear Sailors,

With just over 80 days to go, the excitement is building for the Windsurfer World Championships 2025 in Greece! We are thrilled to have already received over 100 registrations, and there’s still time for you to join this epic event.

⏳ Late entry fees begin on September 2nd, so we encourage you to register soon if you haven’t yet.

Charter Equipment Availability:
We currently have a limited number of charter boards still available, in addition to the 55 sailors who have already pre-booked their equipment (those individuals have been contacted separately via email).

If you are planning to participate and need a charter board, please take note of the priority rules and deadlines for non-EU sailors:

Until July 29th: Registered and fully paid non-EU sailors will have priority over EU sailors for charter allocation.

Until August 5th: Charter board confirmations will be allocated based on the booking date/time (CEST) and receipt of payment.

Charter Pricing & Dates:

Standard Charter Price: €425 (incl. VAT) – valid until August 5th

Late Charter Price: €575 (incl. VAT) – valid from August 5th to September 1st
(includes a €150 surcharge)

Charter equipment will be available from October 11th to 17th. Detailed pickup and return instructions will be shared following the final confirmation and payment of your charter booking.

After completing your registration, you will receive payment instructions for charter board bookings. All payments will be coordinated through the International Windsurfing Association (IWA).

It's time to plan your next sports vacation. For us, this is a unique opportunity to participate in the next European Championship in the beautiful town of Punta Ala in Tuscany -- Italy. In September, the winds are good, and prices for both travel and accommodation are better. The climate is also pleasant, and the Tuscan food and wine will surely convince even the most skeptical. I look forward to seeing you all for an epic championship.

The Windsurfer LT NZ Winter Series kicked off at Lake Pupuke last Sunday with a mix of retro charm and Olympic pedigree. Windsurfing legend Bruce Kendall led the charge with free demos and racing in classic gusty Pupuke conditions. From newcomers to 80s veterans, everyone was reminded just how fun and fast this modernised classic can be. Missed the action? Don’t worry — this is just the beginning of a season of easy-access, low-cost, high-fun racing.

Fiji Windsurfer Championship 2025 characterized by a medium light wind wonderful welcome and organization with world-class athletes mostly from Australia. Thanks to all those who contributed to creating a fun Championship while maintaining the characteristic of the Windsurfer class 50% race 50% fun

Fiji Windsurfer Championship 2025 the first day we had a nice marathon passing around two islands with wind 15/18 knots. The second day there were 6 course race tests, we started with the minimum limit of 4 knots when in the second lap it dropped further below the limit usually allowed. Pulled ashore towed by the support boats.
Let's see what the committee will decide whether to validate or cancel a not-so-fun race

The first Windsurfer LT event on the new calendar is on this Saturday. The Raglan Sailing Club closing day will be a fun event.

Windsurfer LT NZ events are about shared fun experiences, not just about the race results. However, two similar boards on the water is the definition of a race!
