Council has closed the rail footbridge between West Street/SH1 and East Street this afternoon after a vehicle crash on West Street, near Wills Street (and the approach to the footbridge). Our contractor has fenced off the entrances at either side to prevent pedestrian access

Community Rugby Update this weekend

JAB Rugby Update: Years 1-8
All Games are ON this weekend with our club's keen to get rugby played. Please ensure you are ready to play and have plenty of warm gear and a change of clothes after the game.

Teenage Rugby: Years 9-13
All games are OFF this weekend due to closures across the Ellesmere competition. Unfortunately, there are no games due to the weather.

1st XV Games:
The game between Christ College 2nd XV v Mid Canterbury Combined is ON. All Miles Toyota Competition Games are still going ahead.

Colts Games:
All Colts games are ON. Allenton v Hurunui (12:30pm at Allenton) and Oxford v Methven (1pm at Oxford) will be played as scheduled.

Women’s- Friendly:
Mt Somers V Celtic (12.30pm at Mt Somers) is ON

Senior B's and Luisetti Games
Senior B's and Senior games are ON as scheduled.
