I’ve been away in England for the last two months, and despite telling myself I’d keep posting content to “stay relevant,” I did absolutely none of that.
After the first week, I made a conscious decision to skip the social channels because, honestly, no one really notices when you go quiet (and I mean that in the kindest way). Life just… carries on.
So I focused on my mum, who has become very unwell, and my daughter, who came with me. Three generations of women under one roof was beautiful, hard, and stretching in all the ways.
There were moments I asked myself what the actual F&^k I was thinking taking two months out… and then other moments when I knew this was exactly where I needed to be.
Louis Bolton kept the home fires burning, the house still stands, the animals are alive, and our veggie garden looks better than ever. But 8 weeks apart is no joke! Coming home to him, and to this incredibly beautiful country, felt like medicine.
That said… sitting back at my desk has been harder than expected. It’s taken a full week to find my focus again.
Now, with just a couple of months left in the year, I’m asking myself what I want to create before 2026 rolls in and how I can support others doing the same.
If you're a small business owner, solo operator, or just someone trying to show up consistently online, I’ve put together something simple and practical to help. It’s a 7-day content pack designed to take the pressure off figuring out what to post, what to write, or how to describe what you do.
I’ll share more about it soon, but if it sounds like something you (or someone you know) might need, just flick me a message. Happy to chat about it.
