This is so cool we have such an amazing art teacher in Upper Hutt. Karen excites and educates future artists in her full time role at Whirinaki Whare Taonga here in the heart of Upper Hutt. Then she comes to G16 Studios and creates even more artists. Then she creates an entire exhibition at G16 Studios for everyone else to enjoy.

We are truly grateful to have such an amazing, dedicated and talented person teaching her unique style in little old Upper Hutt. Honestly whether her students are 1 years old or 100 years old it is almost unreal how these budding artists start at such a high level.

We will of course be sharing Karen and Forming Masters with the wonderful Whirinaki Whare Taonga for the up coming Upper Hutt Art Trail. Not only is her work next level, so is what our marque art gallery in Upper Hutt has to offer so make sure they are on the arts trail list. We will hold the fort on the Forming Masters Exhibition on Saturday and then you can catch up with Karen on Sunday here at 6 Railway Ave. ART TRAIL THIS WEEKEND PEEPS SO MUCH MORE INFO TO COME!!!

Aaron/I got challenged. In an assertive conversation around politics where a colleague argued that middle NZ have a right to complain but they don't really understand what it takes to be a politician.

I told him that was bo****ks as I was a little flustered. Potty mouth aside I told them I could achieve more in a day applying my business principals than 20 of them could in a month. Just a tad cocky.

Now this colleague is not a villain in this story. In fact they were intrigued enough by my serious face to bet me they would put $500 cash into the Garage 16 Koha box if I could create a party of my own, create our slogans and deliver my inaugural speech, then post a campaign video by 8.30pm tonight.

How we win is if one person in the comments agrees with this rather strange attempt of ours to raise money for Garage 16, as in they actually say they would vote for the Productivity Party then we get all the money as Koha which goes towards the lease costs.

We need one vote in the comments for us by midnight. This is why the colleague is no villain in the story. They will probably be a voter :)

Please understand we are not actually running for government. But as crazy as the way this came about is, I have to say it affected me and I was proud I knew as much as I did. I started as a building site worker in Gisborne my home town a few haircuts ago. I didn't expect my own knowledge to cut so deep when I watched it back. Maybe middle NZ should be getting more of a voice. Some of us know a thing or two about a thing or two.

Ooh the irony of this......

FB recognized our picture as being A.I. generated.
The irony is its not.
We license most of visual backgrounds via Adobe creative cloud. This means we pay for it and supposedly its not A.I. which is why we pay so much.

So here we are a little known roller rink in a tiny place and between Meta, Adobe, Google and the behemoth A.I. world security watch dogs we get called out for using A.I.. What bunch of morons. Who cares honestly

We are not even anti A.I.. in fact the reason we don't instantly generate images on A.I. programmes is because we tried it and it is crap.
A.I. is so stupidly obvious because humans have senses that help us call it out and most A.I. of a visual variety is no where near as talented as graphic designers. Human ones.

So they want us to use it and they charge us for their programmes then when we do (or in this case we actually don't use it) you call us out for it. FB or Meta users A.I. but yet they call it out and practically apologize for it being there because their followers mostly fear it. Do u want us to use it or not?

I know A.I. is supposed to be super intelligent but honestly not many people I know care our roller disco picture is A.I. even though its a paid Adobe picture. They just wana know if there's a damn disco.

See as soon as I start to try rationalize it i get a headache 10 seconds in.

Just a rant, thanks for humouring me if you read it.
