Scratch My Pork / Pork Crunch snacks provide consumers with an alternative to crisps, bacon fries, and popcorn, etc. Scratch My Pork products, available in 7 distinct flavours, and are now available in retail outlets, pubs & off-licenses throughout Ireland and the UK.

Scratch My Pork is Pork Crackling, and Pork Crunch is Crunchy Munchy Pork Puffs. Im delighted to be part of this and a big shout out to The Skibbereen Chamber of Commerce to getting a Food Festival back in Skibbereen.

The Kiwi Guy That Brought Cooked Pig Skin To The Irish Food Retail Market.

Matthew, Pork Crackling and Crunch Flavour Genius and Chef extraordinaire, has over twenty eight years of professional chef experience. He has Chef experience in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and throughout continental Europe. Matthew has called West Cork his home since 2008, still works as a chef in Cork County & writes for The Irish Food Magazine.

Matthew first developed the idea of the unique snack with the distinct flavourings after studying Culinary Arts at Cork Institute of Technology in 2011. While using new product development methods, and incorporating British, Irish and a bit of Kiwi gastronomy, he created the delicious snack. The pork crackling with an Irish twist, Scratch My Pork and The Skibbereen Food Company was born.

Scratch My Pork is a natural product made from pork rind, cooked to specific temperatures with our unique spices resulting in a crunchy, crispy, flavoursome, good value and nutritious snack which is Gluten, MSG, Diary Free and Naturally High in Protein.

Over six years of trading Matthew and The Skibbereen Food Company have developed a new Pork Snack range called Pork Crunch that is avaliable on the Irish and UK markets.
