This morning was one for the books. 🐬✨

We were out by the harbor, coffee in hand, when we noticed a few splashes in the distance. Before we knew it, a huge pod of dolphins appeared, swimming and leaping all around us. We couldn’t believe our eyes!

We spent the next few minutes snapping photos and videos, trying to capture the magic, but honestly, at one point, we just had to put the camera down and watch. It was one of those rare moments where you realize how incredible the world around you really is, and we felt so lucky to be right there in the middle of it.

Wellington, you never fail to surprise us. And today, we were reminded once again why we love this place so much. 🐬💙

Sometimes, all it takes is a little pause to rediscover what truly brings you joy. After a long break, we’re back behind the lens—this time with a simple phone, a touch of long exposure, and a timeless boat shed under the evening light. It feels so good to create again, to chase scenic views and find beauty in the stillness. Here’s to fresh starts and endless landscapes.

Massive thanks to Fujifilm Fujifilm X Series NZ for letting us take the X-T5 and 50-140mm lens on our Mid Canterbury adventure! 🌿✨ The X-T5 was a joy to use, offering noticeable improvements over our X-T4, especially in image quality and handling. As for the 50-140mm lens, it delivered stunning results, capturing everything from sweeping landscapes to intricate details with ease. While it’s a bit heavier compared to our usual 70-300mm, the sharpness and versatility made it well worth it. Excited to share the highlights soon!
