Our Mental Health project Wind Therapy raised over $20,000 for Te Kiwi Maia

This project was created to share our love of motorcycles and use it to raise awareness about mental health issues, sucidie prevention and how those ideas tie into why we ride and what that means in the wider picture of being a bike rider.

I've loved documenting the story on our channel, we had no idea what we were doing when we started and that's okay, over the past 18 months or so we've learnt, we've grown and we've built foundations for what will be an ongoing part of what we do here.

Mental Health conversations are hard, it takes a lot to be able to look in the mirror sometimes, but for the sake of enjoying life and all of its wonderful benefits, we need to be able to have tough conversations with ourselves. But we also need to support those that cant. or don't yet know how.

That's where people like the team at Te Kiwi Maia come in.

Thank you everyone that has made this what it is, and my promise to you is to never give up this idea

We want to extend a huge congratulations to Rowan Das for winning the first Wind Therapy Giveaway bike, This Yamaha was lovingly restored to better than new by Hungry Wolf Motorcycles, and this project raised over $20,000 for Te Kiwi Maia.

Congratulations to James Darke and Andy Bedford for the 2nd and 3rd place prize winners.

This project has always been first and foremost to promote the well being and mental health of people. whoever you are, throw your leg over a bike and understand what it feels like to be as close to free as we can ever feel.

Lots more to come and we are not done yet, watch this space. Video from the NZ Motorcycleshow coming very soon.
