A Symphony of Speed

💐 Isn't it amazing how quickly has flown by --- filled with celebrations like the many birthdays in my circle --- including mine, then Father's Day and the arrival of Spring with unpredictable weather just added to the excitement for everyone enjoying the current school holidays around the country.

September's been all go and all over the place!

⏰ Now, we prepare to welcome daylight saving this weekend as we move into the last and final quarter of the business year.

✈ I'm feeling invigorated after connecting with like-minded individuals on a global business tour, spanning 11 countries across 5 continents in just 30 days

⛵ I am ready to dive into new business adventures --- but 1st
I'm catching up with our wonderful team who did rather well in the exciting French GP sailing races
on the Mediterranean Coast in St Tropez France.

Growing up in a large working-class Irish Catholic family in Ōtautahi Christchurch, Dr Vincent O’Malley devoured history books—but never those about his own country.

From discovering Aotearoa New Zealand’s past as a young man to completing a PhD at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, Vincent has dedicated his career to uncovering the stories that shape our nation.

This year, he is one of our Distinguished Alumni Award winners.

There are hundreds of people who live within minutes of you who struggle with life. They wonder if they have a purpose. They worry how they might pay their bills.

They dream of things that could make the community stronger, if only someone would listen. To put it bluntly, there are hundreds of people in your corner of Wellington who are looking for a leader to help take them to the next level.

Now, this doesn’t mean you have to start a non-profit organization or try to become a one-person army for doing good. In fact, it begins where all leadership begins: by valuing people.

Just like you invest in the people who share your office space, look for ways to value the people you run into on a day-to-day basis near your home.

Smile at folks. Give them a friendly wave. Hold doors for people.

Tip generously when you’re in a local restaurant.

Make a positive impact within your community, and others will follow your lead.

Isadore’s Story...

Isadore emigrated from South Africa in 2006 where she bought and sold several investment properties as she pursued her passion for renovation projects. With an executive MBA qualification and a secondary school teaching foundation, she forged a corporate career in the publishing world and later, the fast-paced South African property market. Since arriving in her new home town of Wellington, she has continued to grow her own investment portfolio.

After trying a more traditional sales pathway with other agencies, Isadore found her niche at Property Ventures, where she focuses on selling more challenging properties. By utilising her entrepreneurial flair and property marketing techniques, she helps clients buy and sell mostly high yield properties across a range of Wellington suburbs.
