Three cities, Three tournaments, Eight finely tuned athletes, Fifteen hundred fans ready to party.

Yes, all the action of professional darts are coming to New Zealand!

You’ve seen all the action on the TV, and Super League Darts will be no different. The tournaments will feature everything we’ve come to love about darts – Theme songs, walk-on girls, table seating and a ton of onnnneeee hunnnnddddred and eiiightys.

If you love the darts, get a group of mates together, get dressed up and be prepared to have an awesome night.

***FESTIVAL OF THE DARTS SIGNED BOARD AND DARTS***

You witnessed all the action at the Mac's Function Centre and now its your chance to own a piece of darts memorabilia.

The dart board is the official dart board that was used on the night and has been signed individually by each of the players on the back.

We've also got two sets of darts to include - a set each of official Rob Szabo and Craig Caldwell darts. If you want to play like the pros you've gotta have good darts!

All the proceeds for the auction will go towards Rob Szabo and Craig Caldwell as they fundraise to head to the PDC World Cup of Darts in Germany in June.

These players have raised all the money themselves so everything helps.

Odds are now open on the tab website for festival of the darts!! Get an early punt on.

Doors are open from 6pm tonight with the first game at 6.30.

Here are the initial TAB odds for Sunday. Betting won't open until the day and keep in mind that Rob and Craig C will go straight through to the second round.

The Joker had a good win a couple of weekends ago, so a sneaky fiver on him won't go amiss...

We're just putting the final touches on everything for next Sunday and everything is all go - the big screens are ready, betting terminals good to go, 180 signs printed and most importantly the players are pumped!

We have about 20 tickets left and there won't be any door sales, so if you are going to get a ticket, do it today! What a great gift for Mum on Mothers day.

Don't forget there is also a $400 Williment Travel voucher up for grabs for the best dressed. So dust off those old sevens costumes and get them ready for next week.

Second big announcement for the day..

We’re excited that TAB have come on board as a partner for Festival of the Darts. They will be taking odds on the event and have a bookie onsite providing live odds before each match on the night.

There will be mobile terminals set up and you’ll be able to use your normal account to have a punt on the event. We’ll be sending out more information to all those who have bought tickets.

Grab a beer and have a dabble on the darts, how good is that?

**PLAYER AND MC UPDATE**

Less than two weeks to go for Festival of the Darts and we're pleased to announce our final field for the 6 darts competitors and our first special guest.

The 6 players competing in the tournament will be:

1. Rob "The Hurricane" Szabo
2. Craig "CC" Caldwell
3. Peter "Stumpy" Hunt
4. Jonathon "Jono" Silcock
5. Greg "Mozzie" Moss
6. Craig "The Joker" Pullen

I am also stoked that Marc, better know as ZM's New Hot Guy, will be MC on the night. He's now on The Hits radio station with Polly and Grant and he is definitely pumped for this event.

Only about 35 tickets left for sale, so if you want a ticket you better get in quick.

**DRESS UP COMPETITION**

To encourage everyone to get in costume on the night, we're running a competition for the best dressed.

Our friends at Williment will be giving the best dressed punter a $400 travel voucher. This can be used for domestic and international travel. The winner will be announced on the night and spot prizes for other costumes will be given away.

***Update***

We've had such awesome demand for this tournament that we've had to move it to a bigger venue!

Festival of the Darts will now be held at the Macs Brewery Function Centre on the waterfront. Stoked!

The even better news with the venue, is that we now have the capacity to reserve tables of 10. If you and your mates have a group of 10, contact [email protected] directly to book a table. This will put you even closer to all the action and mean that you and the lads/ladettes are all together!

There will be a big screen set up, so even the GA seats will have prime view. Get in quick though.
