KIWINOYS, Santacruzan na!!! Banyuhay Aotearoa is hosting a Flores de Mayo special, and all are welcome to join!

It will be held in Auckland on the 27th of May ♥️ Contact us for deets, reach out to Banyuhay’s page to register!

Flores de Mayo is a festival held in the Philippines in the month of May. It is one of the May devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary and lasts for the entire month.The Santacruzan is the ritual procession held on the last day of the Flores de Mayo to honour the finding of the True Cross by Helena of Constantinople (known as Reyna Elena) and Constantine the Great.

Be part of this unique Filipino experience in Auckland! This is open to kids, single teens, single women, married women and members of our LGBTQ community. We are accepting expressions of interest for those that want to join the procession. We will send more information soon!
This is a fundraising event of Banyuhay Aoteraoa. Proceeds will go to the funding of our projects here and in the Philippines. Part of the proceeds will fund our book drive for cultural awareness books and publications for the libraries and community support.

Now that we are officially registered as a Charitable Trust, we are excited to help our kababayans here in New Zealand and in the Philippines. We also have few educational programs around Filipino culture and language in the coming months.
