With the weather observatory issuing a T8 signal warning earlier this afternoon, police and ambulances received a report that a family of three had fallen into the sea near Chai Wan. While all three people were rescued immediately and given first aid, the mother and son are in comas and sent to the ICU.

Sources indicate the incident began when the family was watching the high tide waves brought by Typhoon Ragasa. Authorities warn that members of the public may face fines of HK$2,000 and up to 14 days in jail for venturing outdoors during the super typhoon, as this puts lives at risk.

👵🚓 Some dreams are about travel, fame, or fortune—but for one 99-year-old woman, her lifelong wish was a little more unusual: she wanted to know what it felt like to be arrested.

When local police in the Netherlands learned about her bucket list request, they decided to make it come true. Officers showed up at her home, placed her in handcuffs, and gently “arrested” her—without any real charges, of course. They then took her for a short ride in the back of a police car, letting her experience the thrill she had always been curious about.

Photos of the elderly woman smiling from ear to ear, handcuffed but beaming with joy, quickly went viral. It wasn’t just about a quirky wish being granted—it was a reminder that age should never stop you from chasing your dreams, no matter how unusual they may be. 🌟

Her story proves that happiness can come from the simplest (and funniest) experiences.

Iceland is the only country in the world without a native mosquito population. Scientists believe the nation’s freezing winters, unpredictable temperature shifts, and lack of stagnant water prevent mosquitoes from breeding.

This rare phenomenon protects Iceland from mosquito-borne diseases and makes it a fascinating subject for researchers studying how climate and environment impact insect survival.
