Maluku: A Mother and Her Two Children Died After Eating Pufferfish Eggs Fried by Her Husband. The three victims, Leny Ltuperissa (28), and her two toddler daughters, Keisya Berhitu (5), and Chrismen Berhitu (2), were residents of Haria Village, Saparua District, Central Maluku Regency. The incident began when the victim's husband was frying pufferfish. According to police, the mother and her two children ate breakfast with the pufferfish eggs fried by her husband. The mother rushed to eat the pufferfish eggs with her two children because she was in a hurry to get to the river. After breakfast, the mother and her daughter went to the river. Meanwhile, her son waited at home with his father. While with his father at home, the son reported feeling very weak. Shortly afterward, the wife and daughter were taken home by local residents because they were also weak. They were rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, their lives could not be saved.
