This song is a powerful call to action. In Tok Pisin we say “OLIM STRONG PASIM CULTURE” 💪🏾, and that’s exactly what this song is about. Too often, western influences have changed the way we live, sometimes for the better, but sadly at the cost of our traditions. Our older ones carried the heartbeat of our culture, and if we don’t protect it, who will pass it on to the next generation?🌏
With MASIROPE, we want to remind our people of West New Britain and Papua New Guinea as a whole to stand tall, respect our roots, and keep our traditions alive.
