I'd say at some point you are correct. In terms of paying the Musicians etc.
However, most of our songs are not performing like Anslom Nakikus songs. Most of the hits we hear on Airwaves such on PNGFM, Kalang and NBC are not be aired on Merit. Some recording labels, producers etc, the musics they produce are off the standard dB of being aired However in terms of nepotism and such these songs are being aired. Most singers too, they are not vocally fit to take on stage in live performances therefore until and unless we fix our music industry in Papua New Guinea, then we can have Artists having their own rate depending on their capabilities, how many hit songs they released, how many hits they produce and the lists goes on.
