Official Opening of Rural Clinic Project Indagen

The Katim Tasol e.V. management would like to inform Kabwum District Health Services and the interested public that the grand opening of Indagen Light House Project initiated and implemented by Katim Tasol, Indagen community and Morobe Provincial Health Authority has been completed!

The project opening will be on:
Day: Friday
Date: 4th of April 2025
Venue: Indagen community, Kabwum
Time: 10am - 3pm

The team at Katim Tasol e.V. would like to wish our core team member, Mr. Bradley JAMES a massive congratulations on his graduation over the weekend.

Mr. James graduated with Master of Public Health from the Divine Word University with flying colors as a recipient of the Brot für die Welt Award for Research Excellence.

Mr. James would like to acknowledge his sponsors Brot für die Welt, Dr. Ganal and family, Professor Elisabeth Schuele, Professor Collin MacDougal and Dr Irene Semos, and his family.

"I started my MPH Journey in 2021. The struggle for a Rural Health Worker to travel from rural Wasu to Lae and Madang was an experience. Juggling work with studies wasn't easy. But with God's grace I finally made it. My goal is to serve and help the rural people in my LLG and hopefully the district using the knowledge gained. The health disparity in our country is very severe, but we can only do our part in the little that we can with the right tools and knowledge. It will be satisfying to see people access affordable and accessible health care in remote village in PNG", Mr. James shared.

We wish Bradley all the very best and we are so fortunate to have such an incredible talent as him as part of our team here at the organization and look forward to working with Bradley to make rural health care affordable and accessible in the remote villages in this beautiful country, Papua New Guinea.
