This track holds deep cultural and historical meaning, passed down through our ancestors in Seure and Sel Villages, Saidor District, Rai Coast – Madang Province.

🗣️ THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG:
The song "Mi No Save" was originally composed as a traditional chant by two brothers from Seure and Sel. During the colonial era, a kiap (district officer) questioned one of the brothers about villagers who were not following his orders to keep peace and maintain cleanliness.

The brother, unfamiliar with English or Tok Pisin, simply responded: "Mi No Save" – meaning “I don’t know.”
His brother, observing the situation, was inspired to compose a traditional Singe song about it, capturing the spirit, confusion, and resilience of their time.

Today, this song is still performed during traditional Singe singsings in our villages – and now it lives on through music, airwaves, and digital platforms. 🎤🌍
