⚠️ Highlands Highway Alert – Stay Safe!

Another serious accident just happened at Avi Market. EL ROX bus collided with a Land Cruiser V8 just below Kuli Gap Mountain.

This is the third major incident this month:
1️⃣ Barola: Driver shot dead
2️⃣ Korafegu: Multiple lives lost
3️⃣ Avi Market: Recent bus crash

The Highlands Highway is becoming very dangerous to travel. If you’re going this way, please be extremely careful and drive safely!

Fresh accident in Goroka, 30mins out of the town, Korofeigu. Bus coming from Lae, heading to Hagen. We can't make out the name and plate number. Rauka bus is transporting second lot of survivors to the hospital as I am posting.
NB: The bus is based at Nadzab, due to the demand of PMV buses 🚌 it took off, fully packed with passengers.

🚨 Urgent Missing Boat Notice 🚨

A boat departed from East New Britain heading towards Ulamona on Wednesday, 8th October 2025 and has not been seen since. The boat was carrying 8 passengers and is believed to have capsized, with individuals possibly floating nearby with the boat.

This notice is directed to all communities along the Coastline of Open Bay, starting from Takis, Kupindal, Poiniara, Torin, Matanakunai, Baia, Kakolan, and Ulamona.

We urgently need your help! If you have seen or have any information about this missing boat, please contact Eddie Kantomu immediately at 7587 0655.
