The Law Studentsโ Society (LSS) 2026 has launched its highly anticipated Courtroom Exposure Program โ "Empowering Every Voice," offering Bachelor of Law students valuable firsthand experience in the courtroom.
The program, which began on 26 November 2025, aims to provide students with a deeper understanding of legal processes beyond the classroom.
Batch 1 and Batch 2 attended sessions at the District Court, observing proceedings in the Committal Court and Traffic Court. The program has already seen strong participation, with over 50 students joining to observe real-life legal proceedings.
As Madam President Shellian Pius explained, โThe enthusiasm shown by students has been encouraging. This initiative is about bridging the gap between theory and practice, and itโs inspiring to see how engaged our students are."
Batch 2, initially postponed, will now attend on 1 December 2025, with Batches 3, 4, and 5 scheduled later this week.
Due to demand, LSS is offering a limited number of spots for interested students, with the first 20 eligible students able to join by sending their details to the president.
All participants will receive a Recognition Certificate at the end of the program, acknowledging their contribution to professional development.
