The casket of the late Daniel Bilip has finally arrived at Avi Block, Jiwaka Province.
Family members, friends, wantoks, and leaders from Morobe Province gathered today to hand over his casket in a heartfelt ceremony.

🕊️ Tomorrow marks the first day of the funeral service here at Avi Block.

Final Farewell to the Late Daniel Bilip

Today marks the closing of the house cry for the late Daniel Bilip at 3 Mile, Lae, Morobe Province. Family, friends, fans, and wantoks gathered to pay their final respects and bid farewell to the late Daniel Bilip before his departure from 3 Mile to Mt. Hagen in the Western Highlands Province. The convoy will leave Lae at 2 a.m. for the journey up to Mt. Hagen.

The body of the legend, Daniel Bilip, will travel along the Highlands Highway. Fans and supporters who wish to show their love and respect may stand along the roadside and throw flowers as the convoy passes — a heartfelt gesture of farewell and honor to the man whose voice and music touched countless lives.

💔 ANNOUNCEMENT: FINAL JOURNEY OF OUR LEGEND, DANIEL BILIP 💔

To Daniel Bilip’s beloved family, dear friends, beautiful fans, and close relatives —

Following many heartfelt requests and wishes for DB to be repatriated during daylight hours, the family has adjusted the ETD from Lae to the early hours of Thursday, 16th October 2025.

This change will allow everyone living along the highway the opportunity to witness his final journey and pay their last respects as he makes his way home to Mt. Hagen (Avi Block).

🕊️ Program Update:
📍 Wednesday, 15th October 2025

DB will overnight at the family residence at 3 Mile, Lae.

📍 Thursday, 16th October 2025

Repatriation of DB from Lae to Mt. Hagen (Avi Block) via road.

Family, fans, and friends along the way are welcome to pay their final respects as he passes by.

Let us all continue to stand together in love, prayer, and remembrance of a man whose voice and spirit touched the soul of Papua New Guinea.
