The guy copped so much criticism, they called him a show pony, said he couldn't defend, that his salary was way too high. But then he stood tall. Coming back from injury, he gave everything for the team, backed the boys all the way, and silenced every critic.
He became the first NRL player to single-handedly take control of a Grand Final with pure heart and courage.. leading alongside one of the oldest halves pairings in the comp.
