Rugby, in its heart-pounding, mud-splattering glory, is the pulse of Papua New Guinea. It’s a sport that has woven itself into the very fabric of our nation, becoming a symbol of our unity, our strength, and our spirit.
Rugby arrived on our shores during the colonial period, introduced by missionaries and educators who saw in it the potential to build character and community. Since then, it has grown from a pastime to a passion that ignites the hearts of our people. From the highlands to the coastlines, rugby is the common language that speaks of our shared dreams and aspirations.
As we stood there, clad in the fresh fabric of our new jerseys, We were filled with a profound sense of gratitude. On behalf of the entire Team UPNG Eco-Mioks, the Management extends our heartfelt THANK YOU to RK Development &Pathway whose generous sponsorship has not only equipped us with top-notch gear but also bolstered our spirits.
