All Team 9in1 councilors together in one photograph. A picture that shows strength, unity, and teamwork. I am Andrew Laiks Ruing, LLB, and I am very happy to see all of you together. I want to wish you all the best as you lobby for the Maip Muli Rural LLG President Seat.
Looking at this photo, I feel very emotional. I remember how hard you all fought for me in the Porgera Paiela Open Seat By-Election 2025. You worked day and night, traveled long distances, and never gave up. And now, seeing all of you united as one team for the President Seat fills my heart with pride. Jealousy, hatred, and evil intentions will not break this chain. Our strength comes from our unity, honesty, and shared goal to serve our people.
As Nelson Mandela once said: “It is in your hands to create a better world for all who live in it.” This quote reminds me that leadership, teamwork, and dedication are not a words, they are actions we must take every day to serve our people and build a brighter future. Team 9in1 our unity is our power.
Unity is the key to everything. United we stand, divided we fall. This is not a saying; it is the foundation of Team 9in1. Together, we can face any challenge, overcome any obstacle, and achieve real change. Together, we can serve our communities better and make Maip Muli (Nete Lyiam Region) stronger.
Team 9in1 is not a group of leaders. We are a movement for change. We are from humble beginnings, from the bush and villages of Maip Mulitaka and Nete Lyiam Region, but that does not stop us from standing tall. We raise our hands and raise our voices because we believe in progress, fairness, and unity.
As a young leader, I am inspired by your example. True leadership is not about titles or positions. It is about working together, serving the people, and building a future for our communities.
