My name is Graham Kayumo, a self-sponsored student pilot from Lufa District, Eastern Highlands. Growing up, bush flying was always my dream, and my goal has always been to one day serve remote communities through aviation.
After 3 years of perseverance, faith, and sacrifice, I completed my Private Pilot License (PPL) in the Philippines. Recently, I received an invitation from Mission Aviation Fellowship for further aviation training in Mareeba, Australia. However, the training requires upfront fees that my family and I cannot currently afford.
I find myself at a crossroads:
β’ Return to the Philippines to continue my aviation journey step by step (affordable), or
β’ Pursue this opportunity in Mareeba, Australia (expensive).
I will decide which way to go depending on my financial balance at the time.
To help continue my aviation journey, I will be hosting a fundraising dish kaikai.
