Harbin-China Normal University Night Market

ဘေကျင်းကနေ အမြန်ရထားစီးပြီး ဟာဘင်းကိုရောက်တော့ ဟိုတယ်မှာ check in ဝင်ပြီး တာနဲ့ ဟိုတယ်နဲ့သိပ်မဝေးတဲ့ Normal University Night Market ကိုသွားကြပါတယ်။ ဟာဘင်းမှာ ညနေ ၃-၄နာရီလောက်ဆို နေဝင်သွားပြီး အအေးပိုကဲလာပါတယ်။ အေးလွန်းလို့ ဗီဒီယိုရိုက်ဖို့သုံးနေတဲ့ Selfie Stick ရဲ့ Blue Tooth Remote ကအလုပ်မလုပ်တော့ပါဘူး။ ကင်မရာကိုကိုင်ထားရတဲ့ လက်ကလည်း လက်အိတ်ဝတ်ထားတာတောင်မှ အေးခဲတက်လာပါတယ်။ အဲဒါနဲ့ အကုန်လုံးအိတ်ထဲပြန်ထည့်သိမ်းပြီး လက်ကိုလည်း အနွေးထည် အင်္ကျီရဲ့အိတ်ကပ်ထဲကိုထည့်ထားရပါတယ်။ ဗီဒီယိုကိုလည်းအဆုံးအထိဆက်မရိုက်နိုင်တော့ပါဘူး။

စီးလာတဲ့ဖိနပ်တွေကလည်း ရိုးရိုး walking shoe တွေပဲဆိုတော့ အအေးဒဏ်ကိုကြာကြာမခံနိုင်ပါဘူး။ ခြေဖျားတွေအေးစက်ထုံကျင်လာလို့ Night Market ရဲ့အဝင်ဝမှာ တွေ့ခဲ့တဲ့ Winter Shoe တွေရောင်းတဲ့ဆိုင်ကို ပြေးပြီး ဖိနပ်သွားဝယ်စီးကြရပါတယ်။ ဖိနပ်ဝယ်ပြီးတော့ဆက်ပြီးမနေနိုင်ကြတော့ Taxi ခေါ်ပြီး ဟိုတယ်ကိုမြန်မြန်ပြန်ပြေးခဲ့ကြရတဲ့ ဟာဘင်းက အမှတ်တရ အတွေ့အကြုံ က‌လေးပါ။

After arriving in Harbin by high-speed train from Beijing, we checked into our hotel and then headed to the Normal University Night Market, which was not far from our hotel.

In Harbin, the sun sets quite early around 3–4 PM, and it gets much colder after that. It was so cold that the Bluetooth remote of my selfie stick stopped working. Even though I was wearing gloves, my hands holding the camera started to freeze.

So, we had to put everything back into our bags and keep our hands inside our coat pockets to stay warm. In the end, we couldn’t continue filming the video.

The shoes we were wearing were just regular walking shoes, so they couldn’t handle the extreme cold for long. Our toes started to feel numb from the cold, so we quickly ran to a winter shoe shop we saw at the entrance of the night market and bought new shoes.

After buying the shoes, we still couldn’t stay outside for long, so we called a taxi and rushed back to the hotel. It was definitely a memorable experience in Harbin.

❄️ဘေကျင်းမှ ရေခဲမြို့ ဟာဘင်းသို့ ကျည်ဆန်ရထားခရီး ❄️

တရုတ်နိုင်ငံမြို့တော် ဘေကျင်းကနေပြီးတော့ ရေခဲမြို့တော်လို့လည်းခေါ်ကြတဲ့ Harbin မြို့ကို မြန်နှုန်းမြင့်ကျည်ဆန်ရထားစီးပြီး သွားခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။

ဘေကျင်းက Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station ကနေစတင်ထွက်ခွာပြီး ကီလိုမီတာတစ်ထောင်ကျော်ခရီးကို စုစုပေါင်း ၅ နာရီခန့်စီးပြီး Harbin West Railway Station ကိုရောက်ရှိပါတယ်။

ရထားပေါ်က seating arrangement၊ ခရီးဆောင်အိတ်ထားတဲ့နေရာ၊ ဖုန်းကနေ အစားအသောက်မှာယူနိုင်တဲ့စနစ်၊ လမ်းခရီးဘေးဘက်ဆီးနှင်းတွေဖုန်းလွှမ်းနေတဲ့ ရှုခင်းတွေကိုလည်း ဒီဗီဒီယိုထဲမှာ မြင်တွေ့ရမှာပါ။

ဟာဘင်းမြို့ကိုရောက်တဲ့အချိန်မှာတော့ အပူချိန် -10°C အောက်ထိကျသွားပြီး တော်တော်လေးအေးခဲနေတဲ့ရာသီဥတုပါပဲ။ ဒီလို‌ အေးခဲနေတဲ့ ဆောင်းရာသီမှာ ကျင်းပလေ့ရှိတဲ့ ကမ္ဘာကျော် Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival ကို လည်ပတ် ကြည့်ရှုဖို့အတွက် ကျွန်မတို့ဟာဘင်းကိုလာခဲ့ကြတာပါ။

​❄️Bullet Train Journey from Beijing to Harbin – China’s Ice City ❄️

We travelled from Beijing to Harbin, the famous Ice City in the far northeast of China, by high-speed bullet train.

The journey starts from Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station and covers more than 1,000 km, taking about 5 hours to reach Harbin West Railway Station. In the video, you can see what it’s like traveling on China’s modern high-speed trains, including the seating layout, luggage storage, onboard food ordering system, and the snowy scenery along the way.

When we arrive in Harbin, the temperature drops to -10°C, and the city is covered with winter beauty. Harbin is famous for the annual Ice & Snow Sculpture Festival that attracts visitors from all around the world.

တရုတ်နိုင်ငံရဲ့မြို့တော် ဘေကျင်းကိုရောက်တုန်းမှာ ဘေကျင်းမြို့ရဲ့ထင်ရှားတဲ့နေရာနှစ်ခုဖြစ်တဲ့ Tiananmen Square နဲ့ Forbidden City ကိုသွားလည်ဖို့ Beijing Subway စီးရတဲ့အတွေ့အကြုံလည်းရအောင် ရထားစီးပြီးသွားခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ 🚈

ဆင်းရတဲ့ဘူတာရုံမှာ Tiananmen Square ကိုသွားဖို့ Exit D ကနေထွက်ရ မယ်ဆိုလို့ ထွက်ခဲ့ပေမဲ့ အပြင်ရောက်တော့ Tiananmen Square ဆိုင်းဘုတ်မတွေ့တာနဲ့ လှည့်ပတ်ကြည့်တော့ ကားလမ်းမကြီးရဲ့ဟိုဘက်မှာ လူတွေတန်းစီနေတာတွေ့တယ်။ ကားလမ်းမကြီးကအကျယ်ကြီးပဲ၊ ကူးတဲ့နေရာလည်းမတွေ့လို့မေးကြည့်တော့၊ ဘူတာရုံထဲမှာရှိတဲ့မြေအောက်လမ်းကနေ သွားရတယ်ဆိုတော့၊ မြေအောက်လမ်းကနေ ဟိုဘက်ကားလမ်းကိုသွား၊ လက်မှတ်ဂိတ်ကိုဖြတ်ပြီးအထဲရောက်တော့မှ Tiananmen Square ကဟိုဘက်ကားလမ်းမှာဖြစ်နေပြန်ရော။ 😁

အထဲမှာလည်းဟိုဘက်ဒီဘက်ကူးတဲ့မြေအောက်လမ်းရှိနေတော့ တစ်ခါ ဟိုဘက်ကိုပြန်သွား။ Tiananmen Square ကိုလည်လို့ပြီးတော့ Forbidden City ကိုသွားဖို့ နောက်ထပ်တစ်ခါ မြေအောက်လမ်းကပြန်ကူး။ ကားလမ်းကူးနေတာနဲ့တင် အချိန်တော်‌တော် ကုန်သွားခဲ့တယ်။ တရုတ်စကားမတတ်ရင် မေးမြန်းရတာလဲမလွယ်ကူတဲ့အတွက် ဒီနေရာတွေကိုသွားမယ်ဆိုရင် ကြိုတင်ပြီးကြည့်ထားလို့ရအောင် ဗီဒီယိုထဲမှာ မြေပုံကြမ်းလေးနဲ့ရှင်းပြပေးထားပါတယ်။ ဒီနေရာကိုသွားလည်ကြမယ့် သူတွေအတွက်၊ အထောက်အကူဖြစ်လိမ့်မယ်လို့မျှော်လင့်ပါတယ်။

During our trip to Beijing, the capital of China, we wanted to visit two of the city’s most iconic landmarks—Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. To experience the local way of getting around, we decided to take the Beijing Subway. 🚈

We got off at the station and followed the signs that said to use Exit D for Tiananmen Square. But once we came outside, we couldn’t find any signs pointing to the square. After looking around, we noticed a long line of people on the other side of the main road. The road was huge, and there was no pedestrian crossing in sight. When we asked someone, they told us we had to go back into the station and use the underground passage to reach the other side. Only after passing through the ticket checkpoint inside did we realize Tiananmen Square was actually on the opposite side of the road. 😁

There was another underground passages inside, so we had to cross again to get to the correct side. After visiting Tiananmen Square, we had to use the underground passage once more to walk over to the Forbidden City. Ended up we crossed the road through subway 3 times and spent quite a time over there! And if you don’t speak Chinese, asking for directions can be a bit challenging.
