SOUTHERN Highlands has taken a major step in developing kickboxing with the official establishment of the Southern Highlands Kickboxing Association.
The association was formed during a special annual general meeting at the Taurama Aquatic Centre in Port Moresby last Thursday. Officials were elected guided by the Papua New Guinea Kickboxing Federation (PNGKBF).
PNGKBF president and WKF Oceania general secretary Stanley Nandex confirmed the new interim executive. They will serve an 18-month interim term, before full elections are held.
