The week-long United Church in New Britain Region 150th Anniversary celebration of the Gospel in New Britain Celebration ended today on a high note with choir singing.

Reverend Daniel Vuvu, Divisional Head of ULU Division while reflecting on the 5 days event the body of Christ (believers) for standing together in seeing 150th Anniversary Celebration run successfully.

While the elders time is almost up, it is now on the children and youth to set apart and commit themselves in the work of the Gospel and move forward with the mission.

Stanford Joanes of Kroton Hela Wigmen receiving his K500 Man of The Match award from East New Britain Governor, Michael Marum in the round 18 of the Digicel ExxonMobil Cup played at the Queen Elizabeth Park in Rabaul today (16th August 2025).
The visiting Kroton Hela Wigmen came out strong to defeat the ENB NGIP Agmark Gurias 26 points to 16 in the last Gurias home game for this season.

Kokopo MP officially closed the ULU Division hosted United Church 150th Anniversary Celebration at Molot.

Kokopo MP Ereman Tobaining celebrated the second
day of the United Church Anniversary Celebration of the Arrival of the Gospel with the people of the Duke of York Island at Molot.

While addressing the gathering Tobaining announced Kokopo District's funding support to rehabilitate the Church historical site at Molot and Kinawanua.

Just before officially closing the historical Celebration, the member announced funding availability for DOY LLG wards 50th Golden Jubilee Celebration this year.
