I've been invested in Rene Barbetonia's story since news of the tragedy broke. I may not know every detail of his life, but from what I've seen and heard, his life was a beautiful testimony of courage, perseverance, discipline, and dreams worth pursuing. Though his time was cut short, the impact he made on those around him will not be forgotten.

Rene's story reminds us that some lives shine so brightly that their light remains even after they are gone. While we grieve the loss of a young man with so much promise, we also give thanks for the life he lived, the people he inspired, and the dreams he dared to chase. We may never fully understand why God allows some journeys to end so soon, but we trust that He welcomes His children with love beyond our comprehension.

Rene's life was not defined by how long he lived, but by how deeply he loved, how faithfully he persevered, and how powerfully he inspired others. The dream he carried may have ended on earth, but the legacy he leaves behind will continue to speak for him.

Rest in Peace, forever MVP. 🤍
