The NDAI community embarked on a solemn journey along the Stations of the Cross today, March 14, 2025, at Notre Dame of Abuyog, Inc. Abuyog, Leyte.

The sacred event was organized by the Campus Ministry Office to honor and reflect on moments of sacrifice, suffering, and the ultimate love of Jesus Christ for humanity.

“Freedom is God’s greatest gift to humanity,” said Fr. Prudencio Alviar, OMI, on the first day of the NDAI Personnel’s Retreat. This profound statement serves as a sacred reminder that our ability to choose is not merely a privilege but a profound responsibility. True freedom is not about indulging every desire; rather, it is about choosing what is right, just, and loving.

Freedom calls us to rise above hatred, to forgive even when it’s difficult, and to stand for truth, even when it is unpopular. Let us honor this divine gift by using it to bring light to others and living lives that reflect God’s love and purpose.

True freedom is found in the choices that contribute to a better world for everyone. As Galatians 5:13 reminds us: “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”

May we live in true freedom by serving others with love and humility, embodying the purpose for which we are called.

JUST IN || Spreading the Joy of Christmas at the Children’s Christmas Party

Notre Dame of Abuyog, Inc. celebrated the spirit of Christmas by hosting a heartwarming Children’s Christmas Party on December 21, 2024 at NDAI-Audio Vidual Room. The event was organized by the Campus Ministry Office in collaboration with the Supreme Student Government (SSG) officers and the Ambassadors and Ambassadresses of Goodwill (AOG).

The gathering brought together children in an atmosphere of joy and unity. Mr. Wilfredo Macatuno, Jr. enriched the celebration by sharing the biblical story of Mary and Joseph, deepening the children’s understanding of the true essence of Christmas. The event fostered camaraderie and bonds among the participants, ending on a joyous and meaningful note.
