Faith is not just a feeling. It is a decision backed by action. It is the substance of what we hope for and the evidence of what we cannot yet see.
Today we were reminded that real faith is lived out in many ways:
Like Abel, faith knows what God wants and chooses obedience, not just good works.
Like Enoch, faith walks daily with God through sanctification.
Like Noah, faith obeys even without seeing the full picture.
Like Abraham, faith believes first because Godโs Word is already assurance.
Like Sarah, faith trusts even what seems impossible.
Like Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, faith looks ahead and trusts God for the next generation.
Like Moses, faith fears God more than people.
Like the Israelites, faith moves forward even without clear direction.
Like Joshuaโs generation, faith steps out of the comfort zone.
And sometimes, faith simply means trusting even when you do not fully understand.
Faith protects. Faith cultivates. Faith costs. Faith transforms.
Let this remind us that faith is doing what God wants, even when it is hard, unclear, or uncomfortable.
