Students at Golden West Colleges celebrated Valentineโ€™s Day with vibrant decorations, interactive booths, and lively activities organized by the schoolโ€™s Supreme Student Government officers.

The campus transformed into a colorful and welcoming space, highlighting not only romance but also friendship, unity, and school spirit. Among the most popular attractions was the Freedom Wall booth, where students shared heartfelt messages and greetings. A playful lollipop booth, offering broken or unbroken treats to symbolize oneโ€™s โ€œheart status,โ€ added humor and excitement to the celebration.

Fun-filled games such as โ€œAim Your Shotโ€ and โ€œSpin Your Luckโ€ allowed students to test their skills and win prizes, filling the hallways with laughter and cheers. The photobooth became a favorite gathering spot, capturing moments of friendship and joy, while colorful, color-coded shirts added creativity and vibrancy to the event.

One of the major highlights of the event was the crowning of the King and Queen of Hearts 2026, recognizing students who embodied charm, confidence, and camaraderie.

More than a celebration of romance, the Valentineโ€™s Day event at Golden West Colleges served as a reminder that love is also expressed through friendship, unity, and shared experiences within the school community.

In a spirited display of leadership and dedication, the two competing party lists vying for SSG positions at Golden West Collegeโ€™s Senior High School took center stage during the Final Campaign Rally held on September 19, 2025 at 8:00 am in the GWC AVR.

Each party presented their unique vision, courage, and commitment to student service. The program featured self-introductions, short entertaining performances, and a compelling Question-and-Answer segment that tested the candidates' readiness and depth of understanding regarding student issues.

A highlight of the program was the question-and-answer segment, which featured inquiries from students as well as esteemed teachers from the Senior High School faculty. This interactive portion gave candidates the opportunity to address important concerns and demonstrate their readiness to serve.

As part of the program, former SSG officers were awarded certificates of appreciation in recognition of their dedicated service to the student community. The event concluded with final messages from each party's presidential candidate, further inspiring their fellow students and reinforcing their passion for leadership.

With both party lists showing strong potential, the rally served as a powerful reminder of the importance of student voice and active participation in shaping the school community.
