Jamesy Gladys Amirah Bobiles, a 2nd-year BSBA - OM student, surges ahead as the new President of the Operations Management Club for the Academic Year 2025-2026, after a commanding victory of 96 out of 111 votes (86.5%), held last May 3, 2025, via online votation through Google Forms.
When asked about her vision for the next academic year, Bobiles expressed a strong interest in cultivating operationally proactive students by providing opportunities that help them develop, improve, and connect with the community. Following Bobilesโ victory, the rest of the OMC officers for the upcoming academic year were officially elected, with six out of the 16 newly elected officers being incoming fourth-year students.
Soleil Aleign Alarcon secured the position of Vice President for Activities and Outreach with a strong 31.5% lead. Bea Lyzzah Madronio, currently serving as BU-USCโs Deputy Secretary-General, will assume the role of OMC Secretary-General, also garnering 31.5% of the vote. Trisha Agripa led the race for Deputy Secretary-General, earning 14.4% of the total votes.
Incumbent Vice President for Finance, Sophia Cenna P***s, successfully retained her position with 40.5% of the votes, while Ma. Louise Andrea Gubaton was elected Deputy Finance Officer with 18.9%. Norway Agudo, current Deputy Finance Officer, will be serving as Vice President for Audit after receiving 27.9% of the vote. Meanwhile, Jasmine Alcazar will take on the role of Vice President for Technology, winning with 35.1%.
Samantha Paige Raรฑada, a 2nd-year OM student, was elected Vice President for Media and Information with 18.8% of the votes. Mary Gwyneth Callos will head Careers and Corporate Relations, securing 18% of the vote. Former Ambassadress of Goodwill, Shaira Mae Arevalo, will now serve as Vice President for International Careers with 16.2% of the votes. Filling her former post, Ezel Anne Carido was elected Ambassadress of Goodwill with 18.9%, alongside Raphael Pura, who won the position of Ambassador of Goodwill with 28.8%.
For year-level representatives, Kyla Joy Baliwas will serve as the 4th Year Representative, earning support from 38.5% of her block. Current 2nd Year Representative, Sofia Luces will still be the bearer of the block as 3rd Year Representative with 31.3% of the vote, while Angelica Fulgar, also the incumbent 1st Year Representative, secured her position as 2nd Year Representative, winning the favor of 50.8% of her classmates.
With the election results in, the newly elected officers are eager to work together and continue the legacy of excellence within the organization.
Their collective vision for the upcoming academic year promises to bring fresh ideas, strengthen connections, and create opportunities for the members of the Operations Management Club. Under Bobiles' leadership, the OMC is ready to face new challenges and make a lasting impact.
