Area 7 Leaders Strengthened Through Seminar on Church Administration and Ministry
Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines — Church leaders and members across the province gathered for the Area 7 Seminar of Clerks, Family Ministries, and Women’s Ministries held on April 24–25, 2026. The event, organized and conducted by the Northern Luzon Philippine Union Mission (NLPUM) and the Northeast Luzon Mission (NELM) Secretariat, aimed to equip participants with both practical skills and spiritual encouragement for effective ministry.
The two-day seminar brought together clerks, ministry leaders, and church workers in a collaborative learning environment. Through a series of lectures, discussions, and interactive breakout sessions, attendees were guided in strengthening their roles within the church, particularly in areas of administration, membership care, and policy implementation.
Key speakers delivered insightful presentations addressing essential aspects of church service. Pastor Maximino Cadalig, NLPUM Executive Secretary, highlighted “The Ministry of the Church Clerk,” emphasizing the spiritual dimension of record-keeping. Pastor Arnold Ortiz, NELM Executive Secretary, discussed Membership Care, Retention, and Reporting, focusing on nurturing and sustaining church membership. Additional sessions included Mam Charlieso Solis on the Duties and Responsibilities of the Church Clerk, and Mam Nathalie Aguinaldo on Church Policies and Procedures.
A powerful message resonated among participants when Pastor Cadalig underscored the deeper purpose of clerical work, stating, “The ministry of the church clerk is not just about keeping records, but about saving souls and faithfully preserving the story of God’s people.”
The seminar reinforced the idea that the role of a church clerk extends beyond administrative tasks into a vital ministry of accountability and care. Emphasis was placed on accurate reporting, intentional membership care, and adherence to church policies as integral components of supporting God’s mission.
Participants concluded the seminar with renewed dedication, inspired to uphold stewardship, unity, and faithful service in their respective churches.
