A Milestone in Literacy: Saguin IS Among Region's Top 5
Saguin Integrated School proudly received a Certificate of Recognition from the Department of Education – Region III for its commendable efforts in achieving a successful Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment (CRLA) Rate. The recognition was awarded during the Fifth Provincial Cluster ManCom held on July 21, 2026, in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
This remarkable achievement reflects the school’s unwavering commitment to literacy and academic excellence. It is a testament to the dedication of the school’s administrators, teachers, learners, parents, and stakeholders in promoting effective reading instruction and intervention.
Congratulations to the dedicated Reading teachers, headed by Ms. Shea Mercado and Mr. Cristian S. Mercado, Ms. Mylene Marasigan, Ms. Perly A. Meria, Ms. Eden Espiritu, Ms. Lanie Bonus, Ms. Marivic Miranda, Ms. Elizabeth Patriarca, Ms. Arlyn Obre, Ms. Anicia Bamba, Ms. Regina Gonzales, Ms. Jenn Villegas and Ms.Catherine Calbang, for their passion, hard work, and commitment to improving learners’ reading skills.
This milestone was achieved through the guidance of former School Head, Ms. Maria Luz L. Dacoco, OIC-Assistant Principal, Ms. Nancy C. Tolentino, and the continued support and leadership of the current School Head, Ms. Lilibeth David, in strengthening reading practices and pursuing the shared vision of making every Saguin Integrated School learner a reader.
