This day marks the 35th anniversary of the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, located northwest of Manila, at the tripoint of the Central Luzon provinces of Zambales, Tarlac, and Pampanga.

The catastrophic event reported thousands of casualties, left thousands homeless poeople, caused severe economic and infrastructure damage throughout Central Luzon, particularly affecting the indigenous Aeta communities.

𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞-𝐭𝐨-𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝.

The Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ACDRRMO) recommends the suspension of classes for all levels in both public and private schools on Monday, July 21, 2025, due to the continuous inclement weather brought by the southwest monsoon.

In lieu of physical classes, schools are encouraged to implement alternative or asynchronous learning modes to ensure the continuity of education.
