I wrote these words 8 years ago, during one of the lowest points in my life.

Reading them now takes me back to the moment I felt lost, yet was slowly finding a strange, new world that gave me hope. Back then, I did not know if I would make it through. Today, I am grateful I did.

If you are in a dark season right now, please hold on. The world may feel unfamiliar and even frightening, but it can also be where you rediscover yourself. Healing takes time, but it will come. One day, you will look back, just as I am now, and realize you have made it to a brighter shore.
