Sabi sa isa sa mga pinakasikat na banggit, “Hindi buo ang isa, kung walang kasama.”
Kaya simula bata pa lamang, takot akong mag-isa. Hindi ko kasi kaya kapag walang kasama. Sobrang takot akong hindi mapansin ng iba o sabihin na lang natin sa salitang “takot mapag-iwanan”

Sa sobrang takot kong mag-isa, tila ba nanginginig ako na parang nakakita ng multo. Kaya naman, ginagawa ko ang lahat para hindi ako mapag-iwanan. Ginagawa ko yung gusto nila. Palaging sila, sila, at sila. Hanggang sa wala ng natira para sa sarili.

Ngayon, hindi na ako natatakot sa multo ng pagiging mag-isa. 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙥𝙪𝙖𝙣 𝙠𝙤 𝙣𝙖 𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙞 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙠𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙪𝙤 𝙠𝙖𝙝𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙖.

Ang pinaka-nakakatakot na multo pala, hindi ‘yong lumakad sa kalsada nang mag-isa, hindi yung gumala nang walang kasama, at lalong hindi rin yung kumain nang walang kasabay. Ito ang pinakanakakatakot na multo—ang mawala sa sariling sarili para magustuhan ng iba.

PSU Asingan Campus pays tribute to the lifeblood of our institution—our devoted faculty and non-teaching personnel whose service continues to shape generations of PSUnians.

As we commemorate 46 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, we proudly honor the men and women whose loyalty, dedication, and integrity have illuminated the path toward excellence.

This 2025 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is more than a ceremony—it is a celebration of commitment and purpose. It is a tribute to the faculty and non-teaching personnel who have given their time, talents, and tireless efforts for the continued growth and success of the institution.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | For the smooth and efficient operation of the publication, 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕿𝖊𝖈𝖍𝖓𝖔𝖙𝖗𝖊𝖓𝖉𝖘 𝕻𝖚𝖇𝖑𝖎𝖈𝖆𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓, the official student publication of PSU-AC, conducted its first general assembly yesterday, October 30, 2025, at the campus library.

The assembly served as an avenue to align goals, discuss publication plans, and strengthen the team’s collaboration for the whole academic year.

With renewed passion and commitment, the members of The Technotrends Publication are set to undertake on a year of responsible journalism and teamwork.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝗣𝗦𝗨-𝗔𝗖’𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝗦𝗖 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲
𝘣𝘺 𝘔𝘪𝘤𝘰 𝘌𝘴𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘥𝘢, 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘳 𝘞𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳

Dr. Roy C. Ferrer, the new Campus Executive Director of Pangasinan State University - Asingan Campus, led the newly elected and appointed Supreme Student Council (SSC) in their oath-taking ceremony on October 21, 2025, at the campus’ student lounge.

In his opening speech, Dr. Ferrer shared his vision for the continuous development of the campus, outlining his goals for the academic year.

"Naniniwala ako na ang husay natin ay maraming uri, kulay, hugis, at kahulugan," Dr. Ferrer said, emphasizing that all forms of talent should be recognized, not only academic excellence. He also encouraged the students to join various activities outside the classroom.

Finally, Dr. Ferrer advised the SSC to offer their oath to God, seeking blessing and wisdom for their future endeavors.

Following his encouragement for holistic development, Dr. Ferrer transitioned to the core purpose of the event, the formal oath-taking of the SSC.

“Ang nangyaring oath-taking ay pagsumpa hindi sa tao kundi sa Panginoon na aming gagampanan ang aming tungkulin sa abot ng aming pinakamataas na kakayahan.” said Martin Ezekiel Balatibat, newly elected SSC President of PSU-AC

The event, which was supervised by Dr. Philip G. Nonales, Dean of the Students and Alumni Affairs, concluded with the council officially taking their oath, followed by a surprise welcome for Dr. Ferrer.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | OGPinas! Caravan empowers Region 1 Youths to lead change in Open, Transparent Governance

Joining the call for a more open and transparent government, around 400 student leaders and campus journalists from across Ilocos Region gathered at Don Telesforo Boquirin Convention Hall, Pangasinan State University-Lingayen Campus, yesterday, October 17.

With the sub-theme “From Access to Action: The Role of Youth in Ethical and Transparent Governance,” Department of Budget and Management Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman highlighted the importance of empowering the youth to become active partners in nation-building and open governance.

“Transparency and accountability are not just government responsibilities; they are shared values that start with you, the youth,” said Pangandaman.

OGPinas! Caravan, officially started in 2023, will continue to travel nationwide to strengthen partnerships between citizens and government in hopes of promoting a culture of openness, trust, and shared responsibility.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | In partnership with San Vicente West Integrated School (SVWIS), PSU-AC conducted an extension program with the theme: “Writing Improvement for Struggling English Writers: Propel, Empower, Navigate” on October 16, 2025.

The main proponents of the extension program were Dr. Elsa Q. Terre, Campus Extension Coordinator, and Dr. Mary Jane U. Quibilan, Chair of the General Education Department.

Along with the proponents, Ms. Angie Amla, Dr. Tyrone Lopez, Mr. Christopher Espero, Mr. Aaron Manasseh Agsalud, and selected PSU-AC English III students facilitated the said extension program.

This extension program aims to enhance the writing proficiency of Grade 7 learners of SVWIS. This shows the undying commitment of the University in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Following a successful democratic process, here are the official results of the Supreme Student Council Elections 2025 duly verified by the Student Electoral Tribunal.

Watchers from both parties and the Student Electoral Tribunal (SET), along with the SET Adviser, are now counting and tallying the votes at the campus covered court.

Moreover, students are encouraged to cast their vote until 3:00 pm.
