๐๐ข๐ข๐ (2/2) | DAONG: Anchoring New Beginnings at PSU-AC
Pangasinan State UniversityโAsingan Campus (PSU-AC) held DAONG on August 13, 2026, at the PSU-AC Activity Center, a meet-and-greet program that welcomed new ACians and introduced them to the community, values, and opportunities within the university.
The morning session opened with the presentation of teaching and non-teaching personnel from various departments, followed by Dr. Laurence Agsalud, Chairperson of the BSE Department, who detailed the universityโs Mission, Vision, Core Values, and EOMs Quality Policy.
In the afternoon, Dr. Philip G. Nonales, Dean of Student and Alumni Affairs, discussed the benefits of being a PSUnian, dress code guidelines, scholarships and financial grants, and academic recognition. Mr. Reven Ferrer, SSC Adviser, introduced student clubs and organizations while highlighting student rights. Additionally, Ms. Laarni Ancheta, Coordinator for Local and International Affairs, outlined studentsโ duties and responsibilities, along with the Code of Conduct and Discipline.
The orientation also introduced students to key campus services available throughout their stay at PSU-AC, including the Guidance and Counseling Office, University Library, Registrar, Culture and Arts Program, Sports Development, and NSTP services.
Through DAONG, students gained a clearer understanding of university life, their role as PSU-ACians, and the support systems in place to help them thrive both academically and personally.
