MINOR R***D BY OWN FATHER IN BACACAY, ALBAY

Bacacay, Albay - A disturbing case of incestuous r**e has been uncovered in this town, with a minor revealed to be a victim of sexual abuse by her own father.

According to Aurea Barrameda, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO) of Bacacay, the incident was discovered after teachers from a local public school distributed a questionnaire related to the students' personal lives.

The questionnaire led to the revelation that one of the students was being abused by her father.

The teachers immediately reported the incident to the authorities, who promptly took action to rescue the victim and file a case against her father.

DZGB News also found out that aside from the mentioned victim, another child from the same locality was discovered to have been abused by her own uncle.

Ex-Gov. Noel Rosal Diskwalipikado sa 2025 Halalan

Idineklara ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) na diskwalipikado si dating Albay Governor Noel Rosal na tumakbo sa 2025 elections. Ayon sa 15-pahinang desisyon ng Comelec Second Division na inilabas noong Disyembre 27, si Rosal ay hindi kuwalipikado alinsunod sa Seksyon 40(b) ng Local Government Code. Ang probisyong ito ay nagbabawal sa sinumang opisyal na naalis sa serbisyo dahil sa administratibong kaso na tumakbo para sa posisyon sa gobyerno.

Ang diskwalipikasyon ay isinampa ni Josefino Valenzuela Dioquino matapos alisin si Rosal sa serbisyo ng Office of the Ombudsman dahil sa mga paratang ng grave misconduct, oppression, at conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service.

Naging mainit na usapin ito sa Albay dahil sa epekto nito sa darating na halalan at sa politika ng probinsya.
