LOOk: The Maritime Safety Services Unit Bicol (MSSU-BCL) took an active role in the Maritime Safety Workshop, where they served as lecturers, imparting valuable knowledge on topics such as MC 06-12, Vessel Safety Enforcement Inspection (VSEI), MC 08-12, Emergency Readiness Evaluation and Guidelines on the Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) on Passenger Motorbancas for Lifejackets and Passenger Carriage. This workshop, held at around 21 0900H February 2025 at Headquarters of the Coast Guard District Bicol in Rawis, Legazpi City, was an invaluable opportunity for the personnel involved to deepen their knowledge and enhance their skills in maritime safety. Their contributions aimed at strengthening the region’s maritime safety standards and improving overall readiness to respond to emergencies, ensuring the protection of lives and property at sea.
