It is moving West Northwestward at 30 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Mindanao and the western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas.

BACOLOD CITY MAYOR SUSPENDS CLASSES

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 45, Series of 2026, classes in KINDERGARTEN TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in both public and private schools in Bacolod City are SUSPENDED today, June 24, 2026, upon the recommendation of the Bacolod City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), due to inclement weather conditions brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), as indicated in the Regional Weather Forecast of the DOST-PAGASA issued at 5:00 AM.

Schools are encouraged to shift to modular distance learning performance tasks and projects to ensure that learning competencies are met.
