Be part of the acting ensemble!

We are in need of at least 50 Canlaon City residents to join our short film starring Ronnie Lazaro.

Requirements:
1. Resident of Canlaon City
2. Must be 18 to 40 years old (male or female)
3. Lean physique
4. No height requirement
5. Can do minimal acting
6. Must be available for acting workshops and shooting dates

Audition Period: Nov. 24, 2024, 1PM onwards
Venue: Canlaon City Pension House Function Hall

[GRANT ANNOUNCEMENT] Happy New Year, everyone!

We are pleased to announce that our film project in development "Canugcug ni Canlaon" was given a short film grant from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts- National Committee on Cinema.

With the grant, we will be able to further develop our script and proceed to production if we can more have funders to help execute the film.

We are immensely grateful to the commission for helping us make this short film a reality.

Kayab's door is still open for those who wanted to fund or produce our humble short film dedicated to local history and the Babaylan culture in Negros. Connect with us through messaging this page.

Our first feature film in development, "Ang Saot sang Lima ka Amihan", won its first two awards through a pitching session at the International Film Industry Conference of the Film Development Council of the Philippines last Nov. 20 in Quezon City. These awards are

Thank you so much, Filipino International Cine Festival (FACINE) for giving "Mga Bag-ong nawong (sang Damgo kag Katingalahan)" three awards in this year's short film competition.
