The College of Allied Medical Health Sciences proudly congratulates the newly Registered Nurses who have successfully passed the November 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (PNLE) held last November 4 and 5.

Every restless night, the exhaustion, and your discipline has finally paid off. This achievement is a testament to the hard work, determination, and perseverance you've put into providing high-quality medical care. Be proud, you've earned this!

In addition, the University of Negros Occidental Recoletos produced 119 new registered nurses with a 95.73% passing rate for First Time Takers, and a 94.44% passing rate above national passing percentage.

𝗨𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗬𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗢 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗦

League of Governors from the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) wholeheartedly shares goods during the aftermath of Typhoon Tino in Canlaon City and Isabela, November 11.

“Reality feels different when you see it up close, during our donation drive last Tuesday, we saw how hard life is for the families affected by the typhoon, you think you understand their situation, until you’re actually there,” CAMHSSC Governor, Jhon Charwill Bensing said.

Governor Bensing also mentioned the moment that struck them the most was seeing a group of residents by the road, holding large cardboard signs asking for help and by that time they had already given out all their donations, seeing the situation, the unorians couldn’t simply ignore them, so the League of Governors, together with the officers, and the UNO-R Fraternity of Kapitan ng Kabataang Kriminolohiya (K*K), looked for a nearest store where they could buy water for them.

“It wasn’t much, but it was something, and that moment reminded us that our people are suffering, no family should have to stand on the street begging for the most basic needs,” Governor Bensing added.

Furthermore, Governor Bensing ended his message hoping for better days, as they will continue to help in every way they can.

i'm always wondering why you like flowers that much. did their vibrant colors make you happier? did their smell remind you of your consistent sunday devotions? did their clusters make you reminisce about the first person who handed them to you? i have always watched you water your flowers and cut off their dead leaves. i have always seen how careful you were while transferring them to their new homes. you liked giving pots of flowers to people you cherish to remind them that as long as you live, they're always loved. however, now that we sit beside your grave, the flowers i arranged specifically for you, despite their colors, smell, and kind, wouldn't be as lovely as the ones you planted for us. 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴, 𝘯𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘨𝘪𝘢 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘤— 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤.

i have been so busy with growing up that i forgot you're getting old too. i have been so caught up with maintaining my achievements that i forgot to visit you. i have been so indifferent that i forgot i learned sympathy from you. i have been listening more to the voices inside my head that i forgot the way you called my name. i am a slave of recollections of people i can only resurrect with yearning words they can never read. 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴, 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭— 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦.

𝘪𝘧 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘪 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘪 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴?

it has always been a challenge for me to accept that death is a conventional affair and not a misfortune thrown at me as a consequence of biting more than i could chew. i am angry over the idea that everything around me still continues while my heart stopped together with yours. it is difficult to console myself over something i could never control. does it really fade over time or do you trick yourself into thinking that death feels like a warm bath after a long tiring day? i wished you were with the random cold breeze during that one particular sunny day, but if you're not, i wish you were one with the stars i always look at dearly. 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴, 𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘧 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘱𝘰𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘤— 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘺.

i have written and fantasized about death more than i have ever created paragraphs about its contrary. it is a struggle to write about something that doesn't seem close to you. i still can't comprehend how life is a stranger to a human who breathes unconsciously but death is a familiar face worthy of tears from a living. it is hard to stay sane when you lost a loved one. i am confused as to what i am crying for: is this 𝘯𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘨𝘪𝘢? 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨? 𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘧? or a dangerous combination of all three? even so, i promise you one thing— 𝘪'𝘭𝘭 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦.

𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬

It feels like it was only yesterday that you were excited about the new beginning. The end may still seem far away, but you are getting near to accomplishing another one. Exams are fast approaching; once again, you find yourself staying up late to study and review your notes.

Another chance is incoming; take it as an opportunity to do your best and achieve better results than before. Share those manifestation posts, and get yourself a "Good luck!" for your motivation. Use study methods that work effectively with you and give your mind a space to absorb your new knowledge— hopefully to remember it all for a lifetime.

For your efforts to truly work, don't forget to take care of yourself. Manage your time wisely; take your vitamins and get enough sleep. After all, it starts with taking care of yourself to be able to care for others. Keep going, because we'll save many lives in the future.

𝗨𝗡𝗢-𝗥 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗡𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗬 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

Dedicated individuals participated in the Blood Donation Drive spearheaded by the Medical Technology (MedTech) Department with the theme, “A Pulse of Hope: Where Every Drop Beats With Life,” at the University Gymnasium, October 20.

The Blood Donation program was in partnership with the CEREBRO Review Center and HopeBank for the benefit of the Suntown Camp Foundation, with the purpose of supporting the Sundown Camp Foundation in providing care for children needing chemotherapy.

“The purpose of this blood drive is to help save lives by making sure there’s enough blood for patients who need it, it’s also a way to encourage people to donate and understand how important blood donation really is, we’re partnering with CEREBRO Review Center and HopeBank to support the Suntown Camp Foundation, which helps children who need chemotherapy and care,” MEDLABSS President Lance Querubin Manugat stated.

Furthermore, the event concluded with a total of 141 bloodbags collected by Negros First, demonstrating the UNO-Rian community’s commitment to promoting health and social responsibility within the school.
