NGCP SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON NOVEMBER 26
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) will shut down its Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV transmission line affecting CENECO's Sum-ag and Hilangban substations on November 26 (Saturday), from 8am to 5pm.
CENECO shall take advantage of this downtime to conduct simultaneous maintenance activities.
Details of this outage are as follows:
Date: November 26, 2022 - Saturday
Reasons:
• NGCP will conduct:
1. Repair of melted conductors at gantry for Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV line; and
2. Ride-on preventive maintenance and correction of other defects along Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV line.
• CENECO’s Simultaneous Activities:
1. Ride-on preventive maintenance of 10MVA Sum-ag substation and 10MVA Hilangban substation and related accessories for safety and reliability;
2. Replacement of three-phase primary rotten poles for safety and reliability of feeder lines; and
3. Tree clearing activities.
Time: 8am to 5pm

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons.
