PAGASA reports Borongan recorded the country’s highest heat index on Saturday at 52°C — classified under “extreme danger” level. Meanwhile, parts of Metro Manila sweltered at up to 44°C. A doctor in Bacolod City was robbed and assaulted, evening of May 28 in Barangay 19.

CCTV footage captured two men attempting to forcibly sn**ch her bag. According to reports, the victim was on her way to her boarding house when one of the suspects suddenly pointed a gun at her and grabbed her bag.

Bacolod PNP is now investigating the incident.
