Topic for today’s session: K-pop Idol Shipping.

Shipping itself isn’t inherently bad. Let’s be honest, ang saya kaya kiligin sa chemistry ng idols. Delulu responsibly lang tayo.

Pero nagiging issue na siya kapag:
1. Pinipilit na “REAL” ang ship kahit wala namang proof.
2. Nakikipag-“AWAY” sa ibang fans dahil lang magkaiba kayo ng ship.
3. Gumagawa ng “ISSUE” at nagpapakalat ng “RUMORS” or invading the idols’ privacy.
4. Pinipilit ang idols sa fanservice hanggang maging uncomfortable na sila.

Most idols know that fans create ships. Some even play along for fun. Pero hindi ibig sabihin nun na everything is real. At the end of the day, tayo lang ang nagbibigay ng meaning sa interactions nila.

So whether you’re Team SteJay, Jewelz, HanKi, LawKi, Hanuelz, ShuaiHan, WooWongz, ChihJay SeoJay, or kahit anong ship pa ’yan…(Dai2 exempted)

Ship all you want. Kilig all you want. Just don’t forget to respect their boundaries and each other’s opinions.

On July 24, I boarded my flight back to Negros at 6:10 PM after a week-long official travel in Central Luzon. What made that flight especially difficult was knowing that, on the very same day, AHOF had just arrived in Manila for their 1st Tour, The 1st Spark in Manila. At the same time, FOHAs from different parts of the Philippines were also making their way to Manila, filled with excitement for a weekend they had been waiting for...

Talk about perfect timing.
While everyone else was flying in, I was flying out..

As the plane took off, I couldn't help but feel a heavy heart. I was so close, yet so far from seeing them perform live. For a moment, I found myself wishing that my boarding gate led to the concert venue instead of the airport..

But that's life. Sometimes responsibilities come first, even when your heart wants to be somewhere else. There are moments we simply have to choose duty over desire, no matter how much it hurts.

To every FOHA who shared fancams, photos, livestream clips, and updates, thank you. You made those of us who couldn't be there feel like we experienced a part of it too. Every post brought the concert a little closer, and for that, I'm truly grateful.

To AHOF, congratulations on your first tour performance in Manila. I may have missed this milestone in person, but my support never left. I'll continue cheering for you from wherever I am.

See you next time. And hopefully, the next time I'm in Manila, it won't be for a flight home—it'll be to finally watch you perform live..

AHOF’s Just Say Yes is giving legit high school K-drama OST vibes. Parang ito yung kantang biglang tutugtog habang nagkakatitigan yung leads sa hallway, tapos slow motion lahat, may eksena pang magkasabay silang nagba-bike, tumatakbo sa ilalim ng falling cherry blossoms, habulan sa beach, at yung tipong sasakay pa sila ng bus habang ang soft ng vibe. Ang nostalgic, ang dreamy, at sobrang nakakakilig pakinggan. Ayeeeh...😍😁🩵

i get where you're coming from.. and we cant tell if the mistreatment is true or not but if it were me lang noh? I wont think of things that will only hurt me and AHOF.. speaking of mistreatment, mas may malala pa sa kanila like EXO but they still succeed. Mistreatment is never okay but we cant do anything about that. We need our support to be more louder para mabago yung treatment nila.. sana ganun po
