Bacolod Central Integrated School, November 9, 2024—The Liangan National High School (LNHS) men’s volleyball team claimed the championship title at the Municipal Meet after defeating Binuni-Demologan National High School (BDNHS) in an exciting game. Led by team captain Kyle Mataganas and coached by Ma'am Marnelle Arcay Talagtag, LNHS showed strength and skill in each set.
In the first set, LNHS secured a win with a score of 25-23, giving them a strong start. Despite playing with crammed feet, Kyle Mataganas continued to show courage and skill throughout the game. In the second set, LNHS strengthened their performance, winning 25-11 and sealing the championship victory. This achievement brought great pride and joy to LNHS, reflecting the team’s determination and teamwork in reaching the title.

𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 - Liangan National High School celebrates its 3rd day of Intramurals. The long wait is over for the players and coaches as the 3rd day of Intramurals is the time for the championship.
Players were excited as they played again in the championship game as well as their coaches, the sport events are as follows: the chess was organized by Sir Ariel Homillano. Natinga, Iren - Grade 10 student and Salas, Jonathan Kian - Grade 12 student both claimed their championship title. For the volleyball championship title was grabbed by the Grade 12 in both men and women category and it were facilitated by Ma'am Marnelle Arcay and Ma'am Mitch Smith. For the track and field that was facilitated by Sir Mark Vincent Yurong, in the Sprint Category: Mugot, Chandrey Jade - Grade-7 and Colanag, Jolyssa Grace - Grade-10 both won the Gold for the 100 meter run. Mutia, Andrei - Grade -12 and Sagarino, Mariel - Grade 10 won the Gold in the 200 meter run. For the 400 meter run, Mugot, Chandrey Jade - Grade-7 and Prones, Mariel Rezz - Grade-9 both won the Gold. In the Middle-Distance Category: Jatico, Cj and Idol, Fedelyn- Grade-10 both won the Gold in the 800 Meter run. And Cañete, John Philip and Idol, Fedelyn won in the 1500 Meter run. The badminton also didn't waste their time to play and it was led by Sir Gary Paglinawan. For the boys and girls single category Canoy, Leanne and Sanchez, Alexey-Grade-11 take the gold in the match. And for the Girls’ Double category: Dila, Dhanica and Tagudin, Cherry Mae - both Grade-9 won the champion, and for the Boys’ Double: Goma, Lexcer Ezekiel and Abuzo, Kent - Grade-10 won the champion.
Through the dedication and hard work of the players and perseverance of their coaches, the event went successfully and also because of the help of the SSLG Officers and SSLG Adviser, Ma'am Rea Maribao they contributed a lot in the successful 3rd day of Intramurals, the Championship Game!

Liangan National High School recently crowned the dazzling Mr. And Ms. Intramurals for this year 2024-2025. The event was part of the annual celebration of Intramurals that took place in LNHS Gymnasium at Thursday, October 17, 2024.

The day was filled with excitement as students also participated in Likhawitan and Pop Dance Competition representing their grade level. The candidates showcased their skills in different categories such as K-pop attire, School Uniform attire, Sportswear, and their Career attire. Each contestants gave colors to the true essence of Intramurals.

The crown was brought home by Ms. Mary Jane Chavez, a grade 11 student representing White Lynx, who impressed the judges with her confidence and unwavering charisma. Meanwhile, Mr. Aj Vidal, a grade 12 student representing Black Mamba, brought home the
title as Mr. Intramurals as he captivated the judges and the audiences attention. The newly crowned Ms. and Mr. Intramurals expressed their deepest gratitude as the event finished with grace as it is made possible because of the support given by the teachers,
students, SSLG Officers, and parents.

𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 - Liangan National High School players started the 2nd day of intramurals with passion and enthusiasm in various sports. Teachers and coaches are also present during the 2nd day, with players’ outstanding performances, coaches unending supports, the audience cheerful cheers to their teams, and with the help of the SSLG Officers made the event even more successful.

These are the following sports played in the school: Volleyball, Basketball, Chess, Badminton, Athletics, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, swimming and Billiards, lots of potential athletes are eager to join and show their talents and skills in sports.

Students and teachers are enjoying the 2nd day of Intramurals without minding their opponents and not causing any fights and arguments and that’s the power of sports and camaraderie.

Liangan National High School Radio broadcasters have recently taken a tour at Grace Covenant FM Radio Station as part of their preparation for the upcoming Division School Press Conference (DSPC) on October 18, 2024 at LNNCHS, Baroy, Lanao del Norte.

This collaboration allows students to enhance their skills in journalism and broadcasting while reaching a wider audience. By exploring new horizons, they aim to provide content that highlights community events, educational and political topics and youth perspective. Their coaches shared that the practice at Grace FM Station gave them an opportunity to learn and pursuit their career as a Journalist. Radio Broadcasters and coaches were thankful to Grace Covenant FM Radio Station spearheaded by the Municipal Administrative Officer Mr. Joselito E. Miquiabas for the chance to experience that real world of broadcasting.

𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒔𝒆𝒂 𝑮. 𝑽𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒋𝒂

𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍 | Liangan National High School marked its opening for the Intramurals Event this school year 2024-2025. The students opened their intramurals with a parade together with their lively chants. Designed banners were proudly marched by each grade level during the parade.
The ceremonial torch lighting were led by student athletes Jafar Dipatuan, Jesson Patcho, Ariane Edem, and Grezel Camoc.
LNHS Intramurals were officially opened by Ma’am Lovely Christy B. Peleño their MAPEH Coordinator, marking the beginning of the much-anticipated sports events. Various sports kicked off after the
announcement with the assistance of the SSLG Officers and assigned teachers.
